Role of the CDTE
Role and missions of the CDTE
What is the CDTE?
Missions in their department:
The Comités Départementaux de Tourisme Equestre (Departmental Equestrian Tourism Committees) are the FFE's decentralised bodies responsible for equestrian tourism at departmental level, formed by the Comité Départemental d'Equitation (Departmental Riding Committee)
This is a registered charity.
The Comité Départemental de Tourisme represents the CNTE to the various departmental authorities and is linked to the Comité Régional de Tourisme Equestre by an agreement (same principle at regional level as for the Fédération Française d'Equitation and the Comité National de Tourisme Equestre).
The CDTE acts as a link between the CNTE and the Regional Equestrian Tourism Committees, as well as with affiliated groups (riding schools and riders' associations) and licensed riders
